Our Lily is one smart girl!! Tonight at the football game, Doug was throwing her up in the air when he'd count "one, two, three" with each throw. He did this and she loved it, then stopped. Lily then went "dee, dee, dee!" with perfect inflection and everything. She just wasn't saying the right words, but it sounded EXACTLY like "one, two, three" if you were there. It was ADORABLE! So of course, Doug threw her back up in the air and repeated "one, two, three!"
Another cute moment of the night was when she decided it was time to go home and she said "Done." and held her hands out like she does when she's done with meals. Too cute.
HOWEVER, she is testing her little limits tonight and while playing me she hit hard. It was not an accident, so she was told no and we had a long staring contest. Her hard headiness is going to be a challenge as she gets older. She got the point and didn't do it again, but she likes to test us every once in awhile.
